Something You Whisper (SYW) is a four-member band that plays Alternative Pop Rock. The band officially began in September 2008. SYW is currently working towards becoming locally known and looks forward to expanding their fan base as far as it can go. With the recent release of their debut release “Wake Up and Dream”, SYW seems to be growing at an unstoppable rate.
July 31st 2009, SYW began selling their debut release. A five track EP titled “Wake Up and Dream”. The EP shows both the bands hard and soft sides and makes the listener remember every song on it.
Since September 2008, SYW has played shows, recorded their first EP at a professional level, and have changed into a completely new style of music then they started out as. They have had good moments and bad moments but SYW is now set into a four member core that has a passion for their music. Now, they are ready to gain more momentum and develop at the same pace towards becoming the next big band to come from Canada.
