Before the creation of Take Two, Synny and Nathan had formed a band that never managed to get their feet off the ground. During the beginning of October 2011 Rory received a phone call from Nathan asking if he would be interested in forming a band, minutes later, Synny received a text saying much the same thing. Nik was brought in by Synny and, as it happened, he had a practice space already set u...p in his house, and the next weekend the band got going. By the second practice Rory brought in Ryan as another guitarist and together they created Take Two.
Rory has had experience drumming in a number of groups including Spirit of Expresion, a band that rocked Sherwood Park during his time in Jr High and the beginning of High School. He also perused playing in the band "New Society"
as a singer which never took off.
Nathan and Synny both where in the short lived band The Sock Monkeys.
Synny was in a trio called Amber and the Misfits. Along with another band called Who Called You? That shortly disbanded.
Nik had a short lived stint with a mostly girl band and one other group that he still jams with every once and a while.
Ryan has been with Rory in the group New Society for a very brief time before they just ended their practices.
The group is very excited to get out and make a name for themselves and hopes that you will enjoy your experience listening to their labour of love.
