Gang of Thieves is a funk rock machine formed in the spring of 2009, their sound is reminiscent of the Red Hot Chili Peppers, Led Zepplin and Jimi Hendrix.
They have been bringing heavy funky jams and a wild live show with them everywhere they play.
The Gang has played with other local Vermont bands Busted Brix, Farm, and The Fifth Business, to name a few. On a national level Gang of Thieves opened for 80's hair metal stars Skid Row in October 2009 at Norther Lights in Albany NY.
The Gangs most resent activity includes preparing to record their first full length album, set to release mid April 2010 at their show at On the Rise Bakery in Richmond VT. (Any recording of the Gang that you have heard, were recorded in the Dogs Garage in June 2009. we don't really like to talk about them..)
