A new band out of London, Ontario combining the talents of Darryl Rayner on lead vocal, Ben Favro shredding lead guitar and providing backing vocals as well as keyboards, Zak Taylor on rhythm guitar, Mike Quartel on bass, and Orlin Zlatarski drumming for all he's worth. They have arranged many of their own original songs, each with a unique sound, and heartfelt meaning. These guys are now on the loose and looking for shows to play, and riffs to rip. Watch as they are soaring to new heights and have fun along the way. They also have a demo coming out within the next couple months. "Its often more fun to entertain, than to be entertained"
Darryl's story- Darryl has been singing ever since he was a child, only knowing a single chorus to a christmas song, tapping his foot away while making crafts and has been on the go ever since. From choir at school, to rockin onstage he manages several different style of tunes, for different styles of ears. Jamming with Zak over the summer working at camp, he was brought to practice to give it shot with the guys, finding out he coached little Benny years ago and joined the crew. Ever since he's been writing the unique lyrics, creating the rifty music he sings his heart out to.

Ben's story-ben fell out of the sky...he has been referred to as Lucifer for his conformity of higher powers(Paradise Lost). He was given a guitar from COSTCO for christmas when he was young and hadn't picked it up until 4 years ago. He had been playing piano since a young age but quit because he hates lessons and the pressure of practicing. Ben has been shredding ever since and writing music. He joined the band in September and has been playing with Mike since Grade 9 and friends with Zak since grade 7. Ben looks forward to the future and hopes to be rocking the free world by the time University rolls around.
Zak's story- One day Zak decides to watch a movie. At the time he thought nothing of it, its just a movie what can it hurt. But after seeing this movie he was inspired. He had a dream. A dream of fame, a dream of fortune, a dream of....uhhh....ROCK AND ROLL!! So, the next day he bought a second hand guitar and started practicing. He then joined up with the shred-master Ben Favro and they searched far and wide for the three others to complete the band. Three years later a band was formed and that band was WORD TO THE WISE. (oh and the movie that inspired me to start a band was School Of Rock)
Mike's story-Mike has been playing bass with Ben since grade 9 and has been following music since a young age. His ability on bass is only beatable by his ability to sleep for long periods of time, and drink tons of rock star energy drinks and red bull. Mike can do just about nething thrown his way..sports, games, music, school..you name it this kid can do it. Plus we'lll mention that he's quite tall.
Orlin's story-Orlin just recently joined the band...and just recently started playing drums. Chillin with Darryl at school and with the guys at swim team events he quickly fit into the style of attitude 'The Psaces Between' carry. Orlin can play ne instrument places in his hands and composes many lyrics for his music. He sleeps in bathtubs, on air conditioners and on top of tables.....what can we say..drummers are weird.
