Daren Wait

Born in Victoria BC, Raised in Chilliwack enjoying outdoor activities and adventuring offered in the mountains and rivers in the area. Sport fishing and love for bicycle riding that evolved in to being " A very fast, technical freestyle, down hill racer."suffering countless injuries including broken: pelvis, ribs,left hand scaffoid (Guitar hand) 2 Torn rotator cuffs over a 7 year period. His last crash : Hernia, rotator cuff 2 sprained ankles. " I sold my bike before I got off the ground and limped home for the last time, in 2005." After the broken hand in 1999 it took 3 years for Daren to wrap his hand around the neck of his guitar. Like a flick of a switch the songwriter emerged in 2003 after a significant event. Providing Daren with the first of what came to be many songs that would give him license in his mind to follow his music.Already a praised guitar player, considered as a natural, Daren resisted "the calling" refusing to force it and waiting until it found its way out. When it did, he embraced it and began following the songs, that lead him down new trails and calm waters.
