The Rib and Wing Combo

The Rib and Wing Combo is a group of friends who went to high school together who created a band for fun to pass the time. The name of the band was created by band members Eric Inward and Paul Clement one afternoon, don't really know how, but it sounded okay so we stuck with it ever since. Gradually over the summer of 2008, the band became popular and started playing in local gigs and at friends and neighbours houses.

Fans say that the band plays a variety of genres, but consists generally of a ska/alternative/rock style. The band will have its first recording on August 5th and is looking forward to realeasing its first album shortly thereafter, to draw a greater fanbase and create a name for ourselves.

So far we have created about 10 of our own songs to this date, and have played many cover songs for bands such as Blink-182, Weezer, Twisted Sister, Reel Big Fish, Semisonic and many many more!

All of the band members are enrolled in University, so through the school year, it is difficult to continue playing because most of us go to different schools. We enjoy playing in the spring and summer and hope to get more gigs in future years!
