The Stirs is a fitting name for this young band that mixes iconic bluesy-rock from the 70’s with modern fuzz rock -- like The White Stripes and early Nirvana.
The Chilliwack-based garage band is made up of four high-school friends that have joined forces in the name of crafting high-powered electric assaults using Kyle Schick's howling lyrics, Daniel Sparrow's thumping bass, Kiefer Martens' smashing drums, and frenetic guitar riffs powered by Kaeden Teindl's crazy fingers. Make no mistake, while The Stirs are full of youthful enthusiasm, they are driven musicians with passion that shines through in both their recordings and live music.
The Stirs are currently working hard on recording and releasing an EP, but the quartet’s primary focus is always on creating songs packed with big sound that translates easily to live shows. The band is quickly establishing itself in the Valley, rocking audiences wherever they go -- from high-school auditoriums to cabarets -- and they’re always ready to take their rock to the next stage.
