Thirteen O'clock is a band formed by years of shaky friendship formed by hatred. The three talented people that create this unique blend of alternative rock, and dark ska; the same group that avoided each other when they first met.
After four years of refining their unique sound and putting together an energetic live show, this Southern Ontario band is beginning to form a name for themselves.
Thirteen O'clock's songs can range from heavily distorted, off-beat hardcore, to bouncy progressive rock, to eerie echoey experimental. The guitar talents of Alex Mason, combined with the melodious drumming of Mitchell Dekker, topped off with some solid bass-lines and some left-of-center lyrics, combine to make very catchy, very solid songs.
The band has been busy recording at a home studio for the past several months, and has been preparing for a few local shows; they are always on the lookout for new opportunities, and new ways to improve their sound.
