Through the Darkness

Formed in 2006, Through the Darkness represents a new breed of metal, defining conventional bounds with musical complexity and depth. A main feature of the band is the acoustic grand piano, which lends a subtle, darker tone to a melodic hybrid of death metal and rock. The band's rejection and rebellion against the conventional dark and dismal notion of metal is reflected in it's name. Through the Darkness is defined as a journey through darkness, rather than a point of stagnation. It is a journey that defines, and creates who we are. Ultimately, the band takes its listeners through the darkness of introspection and shadows, and into the light.
