Formed in 2010, TroubleshoT is an independent 5 piece rock band based in Winnipeg, Canada. TroubleshoT's powerful vocals and thought provoking lyrics soar over a hard-hitting rhythm section as layers of guitars fill the stereo field with a unique blend of classic and modern rock riffs. The band draws inspiration and influence from rock super-groups Audioslave and Velvet Revolver as well as grunge rockers Alice in Chains and Pearl Jam.
TroubleshoT burst onto the Canadian prairie music scene in late 2010 winning studio time at local Supernova Peg Sessions and MyBand Rocks competitions. Recorded & produced by Juno-nominated producer Len Milne at Winnipeg's Bedside Studios, TroubleshoT's debut EP 'One' was released in Fall 2011.
In 2012 the band released a single titled "Rudy (and her dirty hatchet)" which was recorded at Red Rising Studios south of Winnipeg. Having never officially titled the song the band organized a contest via Facebook and Twitter and took name suggestions from fans, narrowing down the suggestions to a few favorites and then letting their fans vote for the winner. In February 2012, the first single from 'One' titled "Burning Days" was awarded first prize in the first annual Manitoba Songfest competition. The prize awarded the band some radio play and local TV exposure.
