Sup Dudes. Ya I am so close to doing the next show at the Graffiti Lounge, which should be a step up from the Red Road Lodge. The July 22nd has been cancelled because we just need to decide on a new date with the Graffiti. When I have everything in line I will give ya a shout.Did you guys have a good time at the last show? Both bands and fans are having a shit fit on the show comments page. I don't even know if bands had a good time it just seems everyone is upset about the winners.

Toronto I can't do because it isn't my market. Although Winnipeg is not a problem. I could have you guys play every one of my shows, but it's just not a good idea because you don't want to burn the band out. It's kinda hard to understand, but basically if you play too many shows in a month your crowd will get smaller and smaller each time because your fans just get bored of the same old set. The best thing to do is space out your shows enough that you can be sure that you have a solid crowd. Let's face it, whether you are playing a supernova show or one for a promoter and club owner,  they want to know that you can bring out people to the show. Indie bands don't have the pull on talent alone. It takes a lot of work to promote a show, but when you really bust ass and pull it off, it is completely worth your efforts. You can play any show that comes your way and take the hit of playing a not so good show, but besides practice on stage it doesn't really get you anywhere. You can play a shit show and maybe 10 people will catch your set and think it's good, but when you promote the hell out of the show and make sure 50+ of your own friends are there to scream like mad and pack the stage front, you are going to catch someones eye. I can guarantee that anyone random that catches your set, whether they like your music, is gonna think, "holy shit I guess these guys mean business. They are actually pretty good". So all I am saying is play as many shows you can, but make sure they are well planned out with a guarantee concentrated crowd of your own fans. You can go on the chance that people may stick around to see you play, but not many people stick around after their friends band plays. Bring a huge crowd with you and they will be convinced that perhaps they should stick around and see this next band.Ok this is long enough. To answer your question, yes I can give you gigs in Winnipeg. We are working on a new venue, but for now we have to go with the assumption that we will still be in the Red Road Lodge. I have one on July 22nd and August 11th. Do you think you can round up a decent crowd for July or do you want to wait for August.Keep me in the loop, peace
