playing a set for people who just dont get it (i.e. playing a show with 4 hardcore heavy metal bands)

How do you prepare for a gig?
We all prepare in different ways. Myself (Luke) I get very energized and focused, its almost impossible to hold a conversation with me before a gig, because I'm mentally prepairing myself to perform, and making sure that everything is in order (everyone is tuned, they have setlists, everything is setup correctly) so if youd like to talk to me at a show, after the set is a much better time.
As a band or artist, what has been you biggest challenge so far?
booking shows and promotion, its a bitch

Jacoby Shaddix (ive actually met him before, Id love to hang out with him though)

Papa Roach, Silverstein, Boys Night Out, A Static Lullaby, Red Hot Chili Peppers... there are many many more
