Biography

The first beginnings of the Vancouver band known as Winter of Freedom began back in the summer of 2007. Winter of Freedom's live show is the combination of music and video together. Winter of Freedom is a band that has been building over these past few years. The current cast of characters in the band have been in the band for a long time now, and have developed the most important aspect of the band. Far more important than than the music itself. And that is, friendship.Second to that is the music. The music is melodic, with electronic influences. The band is all about playing live shows where ever possible. We are always working on making our band visually and sonically better everyday.

Your right. There's no sense for us being dicks to anyone. If you think about, it's only music. I wonder if people who build model airplanes are dicks to each other? or if plumbers have ego's?lol As far as beginning goes. Thanks. I'm beginning everyday. Glad you like Devin dude. Not sure if we will ever "get it". We'll never be as good as that guy.lol Its more of a life long development. No matter what you do, you always improve though. Especially if you love what you do. I think you never stop developing in departments that you love to do.

One thing is for sure though, Its only music. A personal artistic release that make us all feel good. And sometimes other people as well. We feel like we are lucky cause we are all healthy, we get along well with each other, and we get to rock out once in a while. What could be sweeter than that right? Jay.
