A heavy, progressive metal band from Oshawa/Whitby, Accolade of Apocalypse was being assembled in early 2007. Originally named, "From Accolade To Apocalypse", Nathen Morrison, Ryan (Brix) Holtmann and Scott Walsh began jamming many months before finding vocalist Steve Heaslip through a mutual friend. Accolade of Apocalypse began ripping covers and a few originals in a basement of a house in Orano, Ontario. It wasn't until Canada Day 2007 that they met the soon to be drummer, Rob Rousseau. Almost the next day, the now five piece began Bustin' ass on originals and planning shows.
What resulted from the combined musical brains was an intense compilation of genres ranging from Metalcore and Thrash, to Instrumental Rock and Black Metal. From that, a repertoire of ominous guitar riffs, bone jarring Breakdowns, solid vocals and complex drumlines emerged, all comming together form what really matters: Letting The Metal Flow.
