What is the first song you learned to play?
First song.. well, I used to plug in my guitar and turn the vol and gain to 10 and twiddle on the fret board (who hasn't)... i had no idea what I was doing but it sounded like metal (really bad metal).. so i'd give it a name and call it a song... Looking back, I'm glad I didn't have an SSL and a two-inch..
One musician you wish you could meet?
The ones in my band after these ones piss me off... (just kidding guys..)
As a band or artist, what has been your biggest challenge so far?
Writing stuff that's real.. truth comes from the heart that is fed by experience. If you feel it, it's likely that a bunch of other people feel it also.. Another challenge is finding a place for all these guitars..
How do you prepare for a gig?
Pack your gear. Don't forget anything or your going back to get it.. and your not taking the Van cause it took a fricken hour to park. Duct tape is in the glove box.
This rocks:
Doing whatever the hell you want. Stop worrying and start writing.. genious is jealous.. and personal.. I wonder if Led was sitting around the studio all blasted and thinking.. "we need something more, RADIO.."
This sucks:
Walking up to your car and seeing the window busted. Flashing lights in the rearview mirror..
as for music.. if it works for the people creating it.. there is space for it.. i don't think its cool to slam people or bands while proposing new music which some people may find repulsive..
