It is kind of like that Spice Girls song, "When Two Became One." It started out as 5 different kids from Beavercreek, Fairborn and Centerville in two separate bands. Let's face it; everyone knows that every band that was ever attempted had "band drama." Those great things that everyone avoids lead Ashwood to who they are now. Now more than ever there is nothing but dreams, goals and determination.
Unfortunately for Ashwood, Dayton's local music scene is best known as a "metal battleground." It would be nice to see a band from Dayton take off not as a metal band, but as a great, down to earth alternative rock band where there is something for every click, scene or genre to enjoy.
