A Storybook Murder is a new
rising band from York Region area of Ontario, Canada. Featuring music similar to
their influence, ALEXISONFIRE, A Storybook Murder serves up a fresh sound of
progressive screaming for today’s new music. Straight from the garage, raw and
fresh, A Storybook Murder doesn’t fool around when it comes to performing live
shows. With People’s Choice and First Prize awards to their names, they
certainly know how to get their crowd going.
Along with A Storybook Murder’s performance, their music also shares a similar
taste for your ear drums. A Storybook Murder features a mix of high rhythmic
bass lines, fast drum beats, thrashed screaming and wicked guitar effects that
will defiantly blow a hole through your speakers.
Also, with everything going well for them, they're looking very forward for
their release of their first upcoming EP currently in progress with ForeverEver
Music a new home recording studio in Aurora, Ontario with Derek Hoffman of
MailOrderBride and Alethia. A Storybook Murder is very excited and would like to
thank Derek for all of his work in helping us produce this recording. It should
be available within the next few months so please stay tuned!
The band formed in summer of 2006. There were two bands before A Storybook
Murder… Hatred's Eyes (originally Cortex the Sanity) & Start From Scratch. The
two bands merged together after previous members from both bands had
respectively departed.
