We all live in a couple hick towns in Northwestern Ontario that's not in good shape. So we got some guys together with all different musical backgrounds and created the rock band Back-Roads. Were currently in recording at Wolf ear Studios in Nipigon. The band came together like your typical town band would. Tim Alberson who had been singing for many years teamed up with Bryce Smith, who had played lead guitar been in other bands but that work out due to musical difference in taste. Bryce writes the majority of the bands music. They began playing together in the spring of 2007 in order to compete in the Thunderbay Highschool idle. After taking first place, they were offered a recording session which inspired them to make a full length CD. Jordan Krawczuk was then brought into the picture to play rythem guitar, but found out soon after his calling was in drums. After a short time he became noticeable good. The bassist, Jared Shaff was the final peice in the band, and with his quick techniqal riffs, gave Back-Roads there fast intro intro in the song "Soundtrack To Life".
