HISTORY
Supernova began back in 1992, with two brothers trying to help a friend’s high school band play an all-ages gig. As word spread about Supernova, more bands emerged from their parents’ basements wanting the opportunity to play live. Soon Supernova was running Battle of the Bands® every weekend across Southern Ontario, eventually extending across Canada and into the US. Thousands of bands have since competed in Supernova’s Battle of the Bands®. International stars like Billy Talent, Sum 41, and Three Days Grace all rocked a Supernova stage before hitting the world stage. SUPERNOVA SUCCESS STORIES
