Thousands of talented artists want a piece of the spotlight and we are looking for the Best of the Best!

The Road to CMW is entering into its 2nd year and this one promises to be bigger and better. Bands will take the stage at amazing qualifying shows to prove their chops where they will have the opportunity to earn their spot at CMW in 2013 and the chance to win a massive grand prize.

Qualifying rounds will take place across Ontario starting in November, where one band will be invited to play at the Hard Rock Cafe during the festival.

If you missed the deadline or didn’t get accepted, this is your chance to play Canadian Music Week’s, number one music festival!

How It Works

1	Sign-Up	Sign Up to play a local Showcase Login with your Supernova account (or create one) Select a show to play in your city A promoter will contact you shortly to confirm that you are booked into the event Make sure to also sign up to Sonicbids and apply to CMW
2	Regional	Win your Local Showcase Get all of your fans to come out and support and cheer for your band at the show; you could win valuable recording time, just for bringing out your fans! For every ticket you sell, your band will keep $2. Play a kick-ass performance in front of an average crowd of 250-500 screaming fans Your band will be voted on at the show by a panel of experienced industry judges who will choose the top band of the night The winning band will receive a spot at a CMW showcase at the Hard Rock Cafe
3	CMW 2013 Showcase	Play Canadian Music Week The crowd will be packed with CMW attendees and music industry so make sure your fans are the loudest!
