Sessions @ el Mocambo brings music fans the top talent in the GTA for a limited engagement event series at the most famous Toronto live music venue. Bands will rock the famous stage for a chance to win a Grand Prize Trip to Prague to play a once in a lifetime gig. This is one of the biggest prizes EVER offered to Supernova bands, during one of the tightest series of shows ever thrown at the el Mocambo. All bands will also have the chance to win crazy studio packages at Epik Productions.




In support of Serving Charity, a non-profit organization dedicated to serving the poorest of the poor around the world, all guests are asked to bring non-perishable food items to each show to help families in need right in our own city.

All profit-margin from the el Mocambo will go to support the poorest of the poor.

Sessions @ el Mocambo HOW IT WORKS

All 5 Toronto shows will be held at the el Mocambo landmark, Toronto’s best live music venue. Each event is limited to a select number of bands; only the best of the best will be chosen for the stage.

1. Bands can sign up to one of 4 qualifying shows (September, October, November and December) with the first event scheduled for Thursday September 29th, 2011 (eligible Bands will be contacted to confirm their spot).

2. The top 4 bands from each qualifier show will move on to the FINAL event in January.

3. The band that wins first place at the finals will take the Grand Prize: A Trip to Prague from the el Mocambo to play an international gig in Europe!

Bands…this means it only takes 2 wins to score the Grand Prize (a 1/40 chance to win!)

Judging is based on 50% Fan Voting via Ballots / 50% scoring spearheaded by el Mocambo Booking Agent
