With years of experience playing in different bands (sum41, Cauterize, Lucky Number 7) Chuck Coles (Lead Vocals, Guitar), Dave Brownsound (Guitar, Vocals), Mikesmith (Bass) and Matt Worobec (Drums) have been busy crafting a distinct sound for what will prove to be their most ambitious project to date.
Having all played with Supernova in various bands during their teen years, The Organ Thieves understand the value of what Supernova has to offer to up and coming young artists and they look forward to sharing the stage with you!
What we have here is a group of musicians with unique talents and life experiences who have formed together to create something truly remarkable. Based in the Greater Toronto Area, Organ Thieves combine a rocking blend of alternative, rhythm & blues and soul with a commanding live performance that is striking a chord with music fans everywhere. With influences ranging from The Clash, Nirvana and Blind Melon to Tom Waits, Grand Funk Railroad and The Pixies, Organ Thieves refined sense of songwriting is a much needed breath of fresh air in what has become an otherwise saturated and dull musical landscape.
Currently working on their first full-length album, Organ Thieves are a band that will be making headlines in 2010.
