The Bloomsbury Group is a 8-piece rock group claiming homebase in St. John's, Newfoundland, composed of members from across our island.
Dawson Forsey, singer/guitarist, first formed the band with Ryan Taylor and Aaron Mosher, filling in bass and drums, in late 2008. Since then, the group has grown to 8 members, including another guitar, keyboard, trumpet, trombone and violin, hailing respectively the talent of Jason Howard, Aaron Noseworthy, Paul Bradley, Mark Strong and Joesie Palmer.
The group has a wide diversity of artists from many genre backgrounds including folk, jazz, rock, punk, brass and wood ensembles as well a singer/songwriter sister group. The Bloomsbury Group is a rock n' roll octet sure to get your head bobbing, feet scuffing and body moving, halfway through the first song.
