Biography

Borealis began in October of 2005 with a female vocalist. We played lots of shows with her and got our name out. Our first shows were that of the Emergenza festival. We made our way to the finals and ended up coming in 3rd in the provincials. Due to commitment levels we parted ways with her. We went almost a year singerless until we got a a chance to open for the band Sonata Artica. It was then that we decided to force our guitarist Matt to sing. Matt has been doing great and our responses have never been better.

saw you guys at el macombo you guys were awesome. amazing vocals and good keyboard stuff, you don't hear anything like that these days.
