Broken Under One was formed by 2 sets of brothers jamming in the church. Those church doors spilled open, though, and unleashed the rock n roll mayhem that is the powers of Jon Giesbrecht (axe, vox), Bryan Binnema, (lead axe, vox), Dan Giesbrecht (bass, vox), and Phil Binnema (skins, occasional vox) combined!
They have been playing together in various incarnations since 2001, and have performed for many rapturous fans. In 2008 they released their debut (kind of) EP entitled The Riven Effect. Consisting of 8 songs, the album showcases their varied styles, from old school heavy metal to modern rock to power pop to ballads. Broken Under One hopes to keep playing wherever music is heard and understood.
