bURN HOLLYWOOD bURN

bURN HOLLYWOOD bURN began performing the Vancouver club scene, receiving a strong, local following due to their Retro Rock and Heavy Metal vibe. Wanting a memorable band name, they named the band "bURN HOLLYWOOD bURN" after the famed Public Enemy track. They were soon opening up and touring with acts such as Supersuckers, Danko Jones, The Black Halos, Gob, SNFU and Zimmer's Hole. Their self-released EP in 2007 called "Truckin" received critical praise. The Truckin EP, recorded at Greenhouse Studios, mixes Joe Party's tight drumming with Creep's blazing guitars to concoct an effort bursting at the seams with spine-tingling classics and ultra-catchy gems like "Where You At?" and "All In". bURN HOLLYWOOD bURN is a hard working Vancouver, BC based rock band formed in 2007. The band members have been working in and around the Vancouver music scene for years, putting on gigs, running rehearsal spots, and working with some great Canadian music icons such as Gob, Corb Lund, Brand New Unit, Strapping Young Lad, The Smalls and Mathew Good. In 2008, lead vocal duties were solidified with bassist Rylander McKinnon and lead guitarist Jinx Stringer, taking turns tearing up vocal tracks with their tonsil crushing styles, on a new EP titled "Coming in Hot". This EP, produced and engineered at Mushroom Studios by Theo Goutzinakis (of Gob Fame), comes in hot with the title track "Church Belle" followed by "Electric Fire" a track which got the band their first daytime radio play. "Coming in Hot" is due to be released in 2009. Watch out for these guy's, they're going the distance...
