Cough Twice For Danger is an American indie rock band founded by singer-songwriter Korey Jones and originating from Tallahassee, Florida. The band has been noted for their passionate live performances and powerful lyricism. They have cited a diverse range of stylistic and musical influences such as Counting Crows, Bright Eyes, and Pixies. The group has released two EPs, 2010's Better Than This and the 2011 follow-up, Behind Dark Glasses. Their music, and Jones's lyrics in particular, have been said to express themes of desperation, frustration, and anxiety.
