Born in 1992, Danielle Robert is a singer-songwriter hailing from Pain Court, Ontario, a small francophone village in southwestern Ontario. She is currently entering her second year in the Honors Bachelor of Music therapy Program at Wilfrid Laurier University.
In 2009, Julie’s Song was selected to be compiled on the Moose Trax 5 CD from the Haliburton Broadcast Group which gave her song airplay on twelve stations across Central and Northern Ontario. This song was translated in French and also won her the Idol en essor music competition across the french-catholic school district of southwestern Ontario. Danielle’s was also spotlighted on TFO’s, Musimission during which time she participated in Montreal’s sixth annual Quand ça nous chante festival. In 2011, Danielle was a finalist at Wilfrid Laurier Battle of the Bands and has opened for names including Canadian Indie Rock band, Will Currie and the Country French as well as Kai. She was also awarded first place at the Comber Fair Youth Talent Show and was given the chance to compete on a provincial level at the Western Fair. During the summer, she was also a featured artist on Thursdays at downtown Chatham’s Coffee Culture Café and Eatery.

n December 2011, Danielle organized an event in her hometown in partnership with ACESS-U Laurier featuring a “busking-style” music event that raised over 500 dollars to provide school uniforms for the children in the Dominican Republic. During the month of October, she was featured on the Local Spotlight with The New 99.1 FM CKXS. Her song Washing Machine is on the radio station’s regular rotation and landscape after she was one of the artists receiving the top amount of votes for 99.1FM’s XS New Artist of the Month competition. In January Danielle performed for the Charlie Burgess Best In The City Album Release Show and collaborated on All I Think About Is You, available for sale on Itunes.
Danielle is involved in playing music for her University’s campus clubs events. This year she has played at functions which include Wilfrid Laurier's 65th Annual Boar's Head Dinner, Laurier's Campus Clubs Appreciation Day as well as for the university's Business Club Social, Laurier University Charity Council’s Murder Mystery Charity and others. This March, she will be playing for Laurier’s Earth Hour at Laurier.
Her current projects include events such as making a music video for Washing Machine with TEG studios. Danielle’s most current project stands as her involvement with the Canadian independent trilogy-based film, entitled All I Need, written and directed by Rebecca Carrigan. She will be appearing at numerous promotional events, which include the All I Need Chapter’s Book Signing event and the All I Need Boston Pizza Fundraiser event. Danielle will be performing her first show as apart of Waterloo Arts Collective at The Jazz Room in the Heuther Hotel On March 1st , 2012. March 2nd Danielle will be on the cover of Velvet Rope Music Magazine for a complete interview. March 3rd, Danielle performed for the second year round at Maxwell’s music for the Mariah Series at Maxwell’s Music house in support of teen depression and suicide awareness. On april 14th, she performed for the same cause but for the "Women and Keys" concert at the Little Bean in downtown Kitchener. On April15th, Danielle played in downtown Toronto's Rivoli in front of the V.P of Warner Music Canada, Ron Lopata and for Juno award-winner, Tomi Swick where she and Lauren Jones (cellist) impressed both professionals at the songwriting sessions.
