DAPPERDAN'S BIOGRAPHY
Dapper Dan informally began a few years ago when Adam and Evan Reinhart, and Josh Cameron bought instruments. Back then, they didn't really consider writing music and forming a serious band. Then, the band "5 O'Clock Arrival" (Adam, Evan, Josh, and Elton Garcia) began to practice regularly playing punk/rock covers. 5 O'Clock Arrival wrote a few original songs before Elton Garcia went to India for a really long time. When Elton returned, 5 O'Clock Arrival never got back together to practice. Elton went on to form "Really Popular Losers", and later on, "Fire the Grid". Adam and Evan became involved with a local music school, Circadian. In this school, they formed another band consisting of Adam, Evan, and a guitarist named Rhys. This band was called "Rhys and the Pieces." They played cover songs, mostly classic rock. Josh Cameron played with Rhys and the pieces at their last show in December '07, at the Victoria Park Pavillion. Starting in February '08, Solid Downpour began (Josh, Adam, Evan and Kenzie Kuepfer). They began writing new material with plans of recording in July '08. In early June '08, Dapper Dan OFFICIALLY began, consisting of Adam Revenge-Bass/Vocals, Evan Reinhart-Drums, and Josh Cameron-Guitar. Since then, Dapper Dan has been writing screamo/metal/punk music and are scheduled to begin recording their first EP starting July 14, 2008. This EP consists of 3 original songs entitled: 1) You Pop Your Collar, I Pop Your Jaw 2) "They're Coming to get You, Barbara." 3) Mr. Indigo and His Cherry Choir. This EP will be sold at shows for $5 each. Also, Dapper Dan t-shirts will be sold for $10 as well as possibly other merch.
