The Deadwax Collective

Hailing from the suburbs of Vancouver, Canada – The Deadwax Collective are a fist pumping, foot stomping and fast driving 4-peice ensemble here to bring out the inner-rocker in all of us. With a combined effort of over a decade of musical training and performance, as well as building on past experiences sharing the stage with acts like Sevendust, Noise Therapy and Gob, the Deadwax Collective have dotted the I’s and crossed the T’s to bring forth their best effort this coming year of 2012. Bringing you their first radio single, “Hey Child” – The Deadwax Collective has recently completed production of their self-titled, first full-length studio album under the veteran wings of JuiceMix Productions (Hot Hot Heat, Wide Mouth Mason). The new album is fresh, forward, and dynamic while showcasing The Deadwax Collective's diversity as musicians. With Ray Boulay exploring different aspects of his voice, from screaming to serenity, to the precise no-nonsense guitar riffs of Joshua Fulford, and the subtly complimenting smooth bass tones of Jason Dickie, all kept on beat by the hard hitting yet laid back drumming of Jeff Woods - The Deadwax Collective have truly created a strong foundation to stand on. The new album is scheduled to be released on November 25th, 2011. The band will kick off this milestone event by hosting a highly anticipated CD Release Party presented by Rednyne and Higher Ground Productions in Vancouver, BC. Shortly there-after, in the midst, the band will pound the pavement as they bring their music to fans during their Western Canadian Tour. Keep your ears wired to the radio and your eyes open as The Deadwax Collective unleashes their music to the nation on tour this coming 2012.
