Unlike the previous Friday night at the hip hop/Soul filled ‘El Mocambo!’ Last night had its share of 15-20 second mosh pits, turntables, angelic singing, and covers galore! Thus you can expect a healthy mixed bag of performances from week to week, variety seems to be the key word here.
A range of influences hit the stages with the fledgling rockers last night from; The Red Hot Chilly Peppers, to Screamedelica (not just the primal scream album), something for everyone. However, the crowds would shift and change appropriately, which made for a lack of consistency to carry the night through. So, what I would advise is simply to, just stay why don’t you? Good music to be heard and prizes to be won (free shirts!). So there, let lose and feel the vibe!
