Many people will ask what the name "Ember Union" really means, and here is the explaination. An ember is the sign of a dying fire. But when embers are united, they can reignite the flame. Causing the first to burn as big and bright as ever. EU exists because they recognize that the world that is all around us today, saturated by media and materialism, is a world of segregated embers.
Energy packed, intensely emotive, and flawlessly united, Ember Union consistently lights up the stage with their unforgettable live show.
As a band, EU has the whole package. Frontman and songwriter, Jeremiah Doggart is the same from the studio to the stage, unfailingly delivers his solid soulful voice no matter the circumstance. Also, backing vocalist and guitarist Jon Moore is responsible for penning many of the bands songs. Joined by Doggart, Jon completes the major songwriting force behind EU. Thomas Hamilton, the latest addition to EU is simply phenomenal; he was born to play guitar, and it shows in his tasteful, powerful, and melodic musicianship. Hamilton is also a contributing songwriter and we'll be hearing more of his voice with Ember Union as time progresses. Lastly, and most memorable is the Ember Union rhythm section, comprised of Colin Moore and Devon Forbes. Between Colin’s stage-stealing antics on bass guitar and Devon’s powerfully tight drumming; everyone goes home remembering the rhythm section.
However Ember Union desires more than just an unforgettable performance and catchy songs. Inspired by bands like U2, Switchfoot, and others; Ember Union’s ultimate goal as a band is to change the world and inspire others to do the same.
