yeah she's got a point. i mean as much as it totally blows its the past and we gotta let it go. i mean we sold like 70 tickets and we got our set time pushed back like crazy and then had to cut a song. it totally sucked but at the same time the croud was sick! it was still a really good time. we've definitely had problems with supernova before this too we completely agree with darkness rising on that one. jacobs ladder has a point though, its the reps in calgary, but hopefully it gets cleaned up since georgia talked to them. the thing that pissed us off the most is like.. look at the lineup. EVERYBODY no matter how many tickets got sold got 45 minutes (or they were supposed to anyways) when ticket sales are supposed to be the basis of your playin time. really though even with people getting kicked off and moved back, when you think about it there were a ton of fans there. and we were lovin some of the bands we were hearing. but yeah darkness rising we're always up for shows so if you do end up gettin that organized look us up

Its cool guys, I'm just getting tired of defending this company. We put on shows across Canada and the US, something like 200 a year, and these problems are bound to happen every once in a while. We here in Toronto put in a lot of hours trying to make the best show possible, we actually care about the shows and the bands, a large part of our job is getting to know you guys and helping you to reach your musical goals. But when there are so many factors involved (meetings, printings, reps, the actual show) there is always something that can go wrong - and trust me, they do, and though we try to work through them there is always someone who gets burned. For example here is a senario: Imaginary show on March 30th in Lethbridge (yes, LETHBRIDGE), I pick the bands i want in the show, I will book it full then it will go to print. BUT PRINT MESSES UP! The mail carrier looses the tickets! AH! Now we have to reschedule the meetings! which means you will get your tickets later. this will make it hard to sell them. THEN the show. Band X is promised 40 mins on stage, but Band Y plays for 10 mins longer than they should, we have to be out of the venue by midnight and BAM band x doesnt get their time., or they do and band z is left with no time to do their thing. then Band z is mad, and band y wins because they happened to get good scores at the show and there you have it. totally screwed up show and there is nothing anyone can do about it. I am driven MAD by this stuff. but it happens and you have to roll with it. so thank you for understanding that this isnt me or who ever being evil cash grabbers, its just an unfortunate reality that we are trying hard to correct. The bookers who book Ontario get to run those shows, and these things do not happen, unfortunately I cannot see you guys perform, i cant tell you when is your last song or judge you for the prize. I wish i could, but i have to trust that the rep will do that properly. Daria and I have agreed to communicate more frequently so that she and i can work toward making you guys happier and appease your artistic temperment :)If you guys have any suggestions on how we can improve PLEASE email them to me, we want to do you guys justice.

o well its definatley not her fault cuz we played a supernova gig in september and had similar problems and we had sold like 50 tickets and still got moved around such and she wasn't organizing it. So im sorry georgia if u felt as if our complaints are directed at you. iwe believe this is Supernova as a whole, problem not just a problem with the individuals involved.

I don't think its the head office, I believe its mainly the reps in Calgary who were supposed to do what the head office said which they didn't. So its not Georgia's fault cause she's in Toronto.

i am not displeased with you(georgia) i dont believe this was your fault because we had theis type of probelm a couple months ago with a supernova gig. i think this is more of a head office type issue. I do know that some things u can and cant control.

o we got the time length that we wanted we arnt mad about that its the point that the door time got all messed up . and then our set time when we were done our show was 11:25 so we were confused to what was happening. and plus u screwed over a couple other bands and wwe had to let them borrow our equipment. we are also looking out for the rest of the undergorund community and it discourages us to see are other fellow bands get screwed over.

Side note: Darkness Rising - you sold 5 tickets to the show, which you knew would get you a short set time and a most likely unfavourable hour. As there were about 14 other bands who sold more than you and set time is largely based on how much you sell (as you know when you book into the show) it is not a complete surprise you did not get the experience you desired. I wish you the best of luck with your own show.
supernovas whack i wish i was in highschool still so i could sell the most tickets and win
