Chainsaw Armageddon
Winners of Supernova's Band on the Run 2009, this powerful metal trio is ready to tear open the hearts of music fans everywhere, and make them love their ripped out power tracks. With a solid reputation for throwing a killer show, these boys will compete next week at Montreal's Break Your Band finals.
Columbia
A recent Supernova success story, Columbia was a top 10 finalist in the Fox Vancouver SEEDS indie talent search this year, and went on to sign booking deals for both a US and upcoming Canadian tour. The band's ambling acoustic rock and a knack for catchy composition has fans falling hard for these Vancouver indie darlings.
King Cobra
One of the premier techno/trance DJs on Supernova.com, King Cobra has been turning heads with his tricked out video installations and incredible live show ambiance. He'll have the crowd grooving along to his uniquely tweaked up beats this weekend at the Winnipeg Break Your Band finals.
Alloyed
With a fierce metal blend of powerful energy driven tracks, these boys have found the perfect rock alloy. Since joining Supernova's Battle of the Bands®, Alloyed has won over both judges and fans to take home tons of prizing; and they're looking to do it again at the Ottawa Break Your Band finals.
In an industry where young, unknown talent can often struggle to find the opportunity to play and gain experience, Supernova.com is creating hundreds of live gig opportunities for these young bands to get up on stage, play in front of a real audience, and feel the rockstar experience.
Supernova.com's BREAK YOUR BAND Finals go even further with thousands of dollars in music prizing, plus a $25,000 Development Deal which will be awarded to the most promising new band.
