With the first week of the
Vancouver 2010 Olympics already gone, hopefully you've had the chance to take in some of the amazing action! As the medals stack up, there's a definite competitive edge growing among the Olympic audience, and we want to see where the Supernova community weighs in!
In case you haven't been following along, here's where the Medal Count stands:
And with a solid week of competition to go, the race is extremely tight for 'heavy medal' contention!
One of the favourite and arguably most important events is of course, the ice hockey. As a measure of both National pride and Olympic prestige, the Men's and Women's Olympic Hockey Gold is a coveted prize at any Winter Games. The entire schedule is below, but one of the hi-lights of the Winter Games is sure to be the Canada vs USA preliminary round match on Sunday Feb 21st.
VOTE NOW for who you think will win!
Finally, for those who aren't close to the Vancouver area, you may not realize how much of an impact MUSIC is having at this year's Winter games! And I'm not talking about the
barrier breakdown at the Alexis on Fire show last week; which by the way, is just a sign of how much energy there is in the Olympic crowd!
Featuring some of the top talent from Canada and abroad, there are literally dozens of free shows throughout the Olympic Village for people to take advantage of. I got a fantastic list from
