The SXSW Music Conference is in full swing down in Texas, and Supernova.com is right at the heart of the action. Starting with Monday's
BizSpark Accelerator competition and leading right up to today's
Socialize Your Network panel, Supernova has been championing the very best in interactive music promotion in this year's
SXSW Conference.

On Monday, Supernova CEO Elliott Hurst returned to the judging panel at Microsoft's
BizSpark Accelerator - a competition featuring the very best in interactive innovations.

This year's
winners included
Siri, a virtual encyclopedia that answers all your questions through a mobile app, and
Bump, which let's phones connect instantly by 'bumping' them together. As experts in social media innovation, this was the second year in a row that Supernova was invited to help choose this year's winners - no easy task, with so many talented companies vying for the Accelerator award.

Along with dozens of parties, The Canadian BBQ, more private shows and VIP events, Supernova.com spent the week gearing up for Friday's panel -
Socialize Your Network: Tech Tips That Rock.
Supernova is co-presenting this exploration into how to maximize the efficacy and return on Social Networking using the latest tech tools. For both musicians, promoters, and even fans looking to discover something new, social media is the new playground. Having built one of the internet's premiere music playgrounds for Artists and Fans, Supernova is ready to share their insights on how to leverage the internet and social media tools to achieve networking goals in the music industry.
"Social networks are fine for promotion, but social technologies have much more to offer independent and small label musicians and bands. Using the tools isn't a short cut to the bank. By attracting new fans and engaging them directly, artists can forge enduring relationships and lengthen their careers."
Supernova's co-presenters Include: Brad King, Reporter and Online news expert; Gabe Benveniste, CEO of SonicLiving; James Hannon, Atomic PR; and Micki Krimmel, NeighborGoods.net - all of whom bring a unique perspective on the art of social network promotions.
Supernova.com will be bringing you more from
SXSW 2010 soon, including party photos and some exclusive interviews with the Festival crew and crowd. If you were unable to join us at this year's panel, we'll also have hilights and a complete summary coming soon!
