Well for anyone that has been keeping track of the indie scene in Toronto, they’d know that Supernova (well obviously) and The Edge are both huge contributors to the success and advancement of local bands.
Not only does The Edge 102 radio station bring us a full hour of indie music every Thursday night with Dave Bookman, but for the last few months they have been presenting the North By Northeast Indie Club. These FREE concerts happen every Friday and Saturday night in The Edge street level studios at 228 Yonge Street.
Supernova is very proud to announce that two of the five upcoming bands to perform at these events are straight from the Supernova roster. 22 OUNCE KILO (who you will remember from the Gob Playdium show this past July), will be performing at the Edge studio on Friday November 1st at 9pm. And just one week later on November 8th, longtime Supernova veterans’ TOYBOX will be performing at that very same location.
Needless to say we are all very happy for both these bands and hope to see you all there showing your support! It’s going to be a kick-ass show!
