Free to all, Supernova has just launched some wicked new features that let bands find and talk to their fans, promote their music and gigs, plus get extra value out of their Supernova profile!
For starters, anyone can create a profile on Supernova for free. A
professionally designed EPK-style website is available to all of Supernova's industry members, not to mention over a
QUARTER MILLION fans. But these new features will take your band's reach to the next level...
New Features:
Where are my fans from?
Now when bands go to the "friends" tab on their Supernova profile, they can access a Google map which displays the location of all of their fans around the world.
SuperCharger
Anytime a fan votes for you, the 'SuperCharge' opt-in appears above the bands on the vote page. By doing different tasks (whatever is shown on the SuperCharge tab that day, it could be an opt-in or a click) users can "SuperCharge" their vote to give the band 3 votes
instead of just one.
Twitter on your Profile
Now ALL users can add their Twitter feed to their profile. Facebook Connect is already available, and now with Twitter, bands can present a complete and automatically updated profile on Supernova.
To activate your Twitter feed, go to MyHome, Customize, Profile, and then enter your Twitter username (or the Twitter feed you would like to display) in the Twitter field. Fans can even add a band's feed to their profile, to help promote upcoming events and releases!
Instant Notifications
Now whenever you send a message, comment on a person's profile or SocialRadio mini-profile, they will instantly get a notification in the bottom right of their screen. This will help you engage with your fans more easily on Supernova!
