Injusticeis a metal band from Toronto, Ontario and their favorite past-time is melting the faces off of the fans that get too close at their shows with the power of metal!
Injustice hit the Supernova stage with full force in March of 2012 for Band on the Run. They hit the ground running as they ran away with first prize at their show and they set themselves on a path that will have them getting a lot of attention in and around Toronto in the very near future!
Dennis Turetskiy – Lead Vocals/Rhythm Guitar
Liran Lemud – Lead Guitar/Backing Vocals,
Julian Hoffman (Jhoff) – Bass
Daniel Goldstein (Dani G) - Drums
How did you get your band name and what brought you guys together as a band?
The justice system is corrupt and there is a lot of injustice in society. Julian - They were the only other metal-heads in my school!
In school we found each other eventually and after that we decided we had to find a new drummer (during Julian's absence). Liran contacted his old friend Daniel. Julian came back to play bass (like a boss).
How long have you been playing together with the current lineup?
The original lineup consisted of Dennis, Liran and Julian (on drums) but by the Summer of 2011 the lineup was altered into it's current form.
If I was to put you on the spot and ask you to define your genre, what would you call it?
Heavy Metal (NOT Screamo)
Do you have any major artistic influences?
Metallica, Avenged Sevenfold, Pantera, Megadeath and Iron Maiden as a band. Liran - Dimebag Darrel, Kirk Hammet, Zakk Wylde Julian - Duff Mckagan, Nikki Sixx, Geezer Butler Dennis - James Hetfield
What is the most rewarding thing about being in a band?
When people tell us they actually like our music and performing on stage.
What is the hardest part about being in a band?
Getting to practice, getting Daniel to shut up, forgetting that Daniel is a niner and Schlepping around our gear.
How did you come across Supernova.com and what would you tell other bands about Supernova?
We found out about Supernova through friends. Supernova is a great way for a new band to play shows and gain experience.
Do you have a motto or recipe foir putting on a good show?
Dennis - Practice the vocals, drink oil Julian - "Crap, do we have a show today?" Liran - "What songs do we suck at?" Daniel - Don't be nervous, just have fun. Drum.
What is your most memorable moment thus far as a band?
Winning first place in a Battle of the Bands Show.
What is the funniest/strangest story that you have had as a band?
Another band from South Carolina contacted us telling us that we "stole their name/logo" and they were going to take legal actions. We found out that they were drunken idiots and made THEM change their name and logo. WIN!
If you had your way, where would you be in 2 years?
On a major label touring with the greats like Metallica and Megadeath. Our goals are to play many more shows in the future, and within two years hopefully release a full length album. We just want to have fun and share our music with fellow metal-heads.
In closing, is there anything else that makes your band unique that new listeners should know?
We break apart from the current metalcore scene and go back to the original 80's metal roots. No make up. No costumes. Just four metal-heads in ripped jeans and t-shirts playing metal.

Having had the chance to see these guys play before and being that I too am a metal-head that believes that metal needs to come back to it's roots, I am happy to say that these guys are doing it right. They are playing the music that they love and keeping it musical! If you get a chance to see these guys and are known for listening to the greats, like Metallica, give these guys a listen, you will not be disappointed.
