The Rebel Arms are a punk rock band from Grimsby Ontario Canada. Formed in mid 2011, the 4 piece recorded a 5 song self titled EP in September of that year. March 31/April 1 2012 the band recorded their second EP "Violence". Another 5 songs, another great time!
The Rebel Arms hit the Supernova stage with full force in April of 2012 for
Band on the Run. They brought their brand of punk to The Boston Manor and rocked the house down.

What brought you guys together as a band?
Bob - Standing near a riverbed one afternoon, a chipmunk whispered into my ear.
Josh - We were brought together by our common hunger for meat!
How long have you been playing together with the current lineup?
Bob - Just about a year.
If I was to put you on the spot and ask you to define your genre, what would you call it?
Josh - Pelvic thrust rock! Or slap your mama in the face punk!
Bob - Punk Rock
Do you have any major artistic influences?
Josh - Frederick Penner
What is the most rewarding thing about being in a band?
Bob - The amount of great times had, rocking the f*ck out!
Josh - I finally have friends and this will hopefully get me more women!
What is the hardest part about being in a band?
Bob - Josh wanted to have a penis joke here
How did you come across Supernova.com and what would you tell other bands about Supernova?
Bob - While ripping fat internet waves. Dear other bands, we played a show with Supernova and it was a very positive experience.
Do you have a motto or recipe foir putting on a good show?
Bob - Generously add 12 pints of beer, 1/2 1/4 dandelions, 1 english muffin with jam, stir gently.
Josh - I personally feed off of the crowd. If there are 10's or 100's, if I can see that they are having a good time, I do too!
What is your most memorable moment thus far as a band?
Josh - The sandwiches at Jamesville Cafe beside This Ain't Hollywood! (Rebel Fest)
Bob - Recording our last EP was a great time.
What is the funniest/strangest story that you have had as a band?
Bob - Josh's neighbor banging on the windows screaming "You're Terrible!"
If you had your way, where would you be in 2 years?
Josh - If I could have my way you don't want to know what I would do! I would like to swim in a pool full of cash like Scrooge McDuck!
Bob - I would like to see us playing shows on the moon! Either that or a video on BET!
In closing, is there anything else that makes your band unique that new listeners should know?
Bob - My advice is to listen to our recordings or even better, check us out live!

Watching these guys on stage at Boston Manor was definitely a pleasure. They bring back the days of old when Punk Rock was hard, fast and best enjoyed with many cold beverages. You can check out The Rebel Arms on social media:
