After kicking off in Toronto on September 7, 2007, Supernova’s Out of the Garage series is well underway. Seventy-eight bands are advancing to the next round of shows and are one step closer to the National Prize - a chance to play at NXNE 2008, Canada’s Number 1 Festival for the best in new music and music films.

Kudos to Calgary for scoring Out of the Garage’s biggest audience. Over 450 fans saw Alyssa Klazek take the victory and win 8 hours of recording time at Night Deposit Studios. Congratulations to other winners, The Grammercy Riffs; oneTree; Idol of Exile; and Written In Red; for placing first in other highly attended shows.
