FEATURED BAND
Betzefer - Check out the video
Site: www.myspace.com/betzefer
This most awesome metal/thrash band from Israel takes influences from greats like Pantera in creating one of the most exciting CD I ever listened to “Downlow." Unfortunately they are on the European branch of Roadrunner and their CD is not distributed in North America but I got their CD off of ebay and I was not disappointed in a single song. These guys just toured Europe this summer opening for Sepultura.

RECENT SHOWS I'VE SEEN
(Quick review)
Gojira – 4.5/5. Great death metal band from France, but don’t hold it against them. Saw them in the Opera Hose, they sounded great, amazing performance, I would gladly see them again.
Behemoth 4.5/5. Probably doesn’t need much of an introduction, this Polish legendary Extreme Metal/ Black Metal band almost ripped the roof of the Opera House
Wolven Ancestry - 4/5. Black Metal band from Sudbury, pretty decent tunes, not a bad show. Definitely another group to keep an eye out for.
Rotting Christ - 4/5. Another Black Metal band from Greece, caught them in Kathedral, Unfortunately the show wasn’t really well advertised, but I think I expected a bit more out of them.
Skindred – 5/5. In my eyes one of the best shows I have ever witnessed. This reggae-punk-metal band out of the UK had it all – great sound, unforgettable performance and as best a frontman as I have ever seen.
