Top Music Chart Week of February 18th: Static Signals
Originality: 2/5
Both songs sounded like they had potential from the beginning but the horrible quality of the recordings ruined any chance of a chance to enjoy the songs.
Song Writing: 2.5/5
I will actually give you 2.5/5 because you have talent in this area. I would like to see what develops in the future.
Image: 2.7/5
If there was an area I did like it was the image area. You put up a lot of pictures and I like to see that. Sometimes if you are checking out a band that you have never heard of before its nice to see some photos of the group. The logo could use some help, but thats easy stuff to take care of though.
OVERALL: 7.2/15
Future Steps: Listen- Its obvious that you guys are just starting out and I know because I've been there before. Future steps I would suggest for you would be........Record better quality songs somewhere. This would not only help create a warmer sound for the music itself, but I always feel that higher pitched female voices sound horrible without the right Microphone. I hate to say it but you get what you pay for when it comes to vocals and I can tell right away whenever I hear a shitty quality Mic.
Summary: I can hear talent in you guys so keep working at it. Sometimes I hate writing brutally honest reviews like this but sometimes I feel better afterward for not cheating a band. And let me know when that EP comes out this summer. I wouldnt mind hearing you guys progress.
