Southern ON Finals – Video Highlights Mon. March 10, 2008
Author: Susana Barros
A soldout crowd took in a night of live indie music as Southern
Ontario’s best indie bands took the stage as part of
Supernova’s Out of the Garage Southern Ontario Finals.
With camera in hand, Supernova.com arrived at the show to capture the
night’s excitement, energy, and hijinks.
The night promised to be eventful and the live show delivered.
Supernova.com was blown away by the pulsing energy that filled one of
Toronto’s most reputable live music venues, the Sound Academy
(formerly The Docks). The show was jampacked with hot performances,
moshing crowds, contests, and prizes.
A total of
16 bands hit the stage at the Sound Academy. These bands gave it their
all to qualify into the National
Online Vote. Supernova.com caught up with some of them just
moments after having played live. Thanks to Accolade of Apocalypse, Purge, Theory
Astray, Between Escapes, Hero At
Large, and Segmata for the good time and great
content. Stay tuned for individual band interviews with
Accolade of Apocalypse, Hero At Large, Between Escapes, and
Segmata.
