Top Music Week of March 31st: Nightmare After Dawn
Originality 4.5/5
Song Writing 5/5
Image 2/5
Total 11.5/15
Nightmare After Dawn is an irreplaceable metal band originating from Laval, Quebec. They’ve come together to share their love of making music and bring it back to its initial roots by dealing with harmonized leads, catchy chorus’ and ear pleasing melodies. There is a distinctive classical influence heard in many of their melodies, which makes it quite clear that they have a thorough musical knowledge and training. They have advanced, layered vocals that interestingly alter from screaming to clear singing.
I’m impressed with several tactics Nightmare After Dawn has utilized in order to maximize their fan base and make their supernova page appealing to the public. I am intrigued by their unique logo; however, it is a little difficult to observe. Their pictures of their members practicing and performing are also a nice addition which introduces themselves to the audience. I would only recommend including a section outlining the band members and their chosen instrument so they have a name to go along with the face.
