Cry of the Fallen
Cry of the Fallen started when present drummer, J.P. Litchfield and present vocalist Andrew King decided they should start a band. They started out as a four piece Metal/Rock band. Their original lineup was significantly different than what it now is. They had J.P. Litchfield (now the drummer) on Lead Vocals, and Lead Guitar. With Andrew (now the vocalist) on Rhythm Guitar and Backup, they quickly recruited close friend, Evan Gilless to play bass. After weeks of searching for a drummer, Evan called childhood friend, Cole Jones and he agreed to take the role.

After rehearsing for a few weeks, J.P. and Andrew changed things a bit. J.P. gave lead vocals to Andrew, so he put down the guitar, to be frontman. Without a Rhythm Guitarist, J.P. called close friend Matt Dawson. Matt, who had just left another band on personal differences, gladly took the spot.
Not long after the lineup was filled, Cole left on good terms, but the lineup needed help again. J.P., who originally played drums, decided he would switch over to drums. The band then added good friend Ryan Zentay on Lead Guitar, and Joshua Lam on Keyboard.
Josh left after a few months, because the band did not feel they needed a keyboardist, and Josh was fine with that, he still is a close friend to the band. With their Lineup finally secure, they went on to play their first show at Supernova’s Battle of the Bands at Fitzgerald’s in Houston, on June 6th and won the Wildcard Vote. They should be recording sometime in the next six months, and with shows lined up all over the summer at places like Fitzgerald’s and The Engine Room, it shouldn’t be hard to find a show and see them.
