This Sucks:
Having to devote your time to a crap job so you can make ends meet while you pursue your dream. Close minded people. Also when people you care about leave.
This Rocks:
Cold beer, and just sitting (or standing) around belting out some licks, and tunage. Also long drives with loud music. Oh, and when you hear a song that gives you chills and makes your skin crawl because it's so powerful.
How do you prepare for a gig?
Umm... Pack up my gear and go?
As a band or artist, what has been you biggest challenge so far?
Aside from finding other musicians to collaborate/form a band with, it has been overcoming personal issues that take away my abilities to focus on music.
What is the first song you learnt to play?
I think it was Gycerine by Bush. But it could have been a Nirvana song, or Lightning Crashes by Live. I don't remember!
One musician you wish you could meet?
Wow.. Only one?? I've already met Ian Thornley. To me, he is one of the best guitarists in the world. But if I had to chose one to meet, I don't think I could choose just one.
How many shows you have played?
Ummmmm..... By myself (not including parties), somewhere between 5 and 10.... I'm also a guitarist in a local catholic choir, so, including those "performances", it's probably close to 100 or 200.
Who are your influences?
Just about anything.
