Heat Rat Magnets have a sound that is hard to fit into any one category; their loud brand of rock is the result of years spent jamming together and creating material influenced by bands like Nirvana, Stone Temple Pilots, Foo Fighters and Queens of the Stone Age. Their musical interests are varied and crosses all genres, and their sound is tight...the 3 brothers Willett have grown up playing music together, and Sammy has been drumming along with them since they were all too young to play in the bars. Fast forward to 2011: after numerous live shows in Winnipeg and their home town of Selkirk the past few years, HRM are hoping to continue to play as many live gigs as they can get, increase their fan base and do some more recording.
