Joel Roberts Experience is a local to Kitchener-Waterloo acoustic duo that is starting out playing a mixture of acoustic rock and soul. Joel Roberts has been writing music for over 10 years and was in the process of recording his first album entitled "Behind The Eight Ball" when he met Nathan Witmer. Nathan & Joel have been playing together since early 2010 and has grown a fan base in the K-W area. They released their first acoustic EP's and an acoustic DVD in early January 2011. The EP's are the first taste of what to expect on their first full length alum. Influenced by jam bands like the Dave Matthews Band and The Allman Brothers Band, Joel Roberts Experience has been fortunate enough to grace the local stages at Maxwell's Music House, The Registry Theatre and The Boathouse. They also placed 2nd in the Hysteria Battle of the Band hosted by Supernova in late 2010. Joel Roberts Experience is looking forward to expanding to more venues as well as their songbook and fan base.
