Left of Centre

Few independent musicians maintain a desire to play or a level of dedication consistent with Left of Centre. Founded in Hamiota, Manitoba, and now calling Winnipeg home, LOC thrives on the summer music tour, averaging 20 shows a year between May and September. Thus, while the group’s online activities have reached fans from across Canada, the US, and the UK, LOC prefers to make friends in person. With melodic originals and an energetic stage presence, Cory, Alex, Travis, and Ben have attracted a loyal fan base throughout Manitoba. This has been evidenced with a first place finish in the 2010 RFM Rock Off in August 2010. Their 2009 debut EP ‘Pushover’ earned them a spot on 272 Records' compilation disc 'Riot on Sunset 21', released in late 2010. Believing in the value of hard work, LOC is entering new markets and meeting old friends through shows in Manitoba, Saskatchewan, and Alberta this summer.
